Worried the Vic might have caught more then he can swallow i decided to intervene

Amazingly enough look like both fish are fine, the vic isn’t pleased about me stealing his meal but I didn’t want to risk him choking, and the EBJ has a few nice rings of teeth marks but nothing that wont heal

Thanks everyone, He was an "adoption" buddy of mine who has a nice all Vic tank but this male has an attitude more like a Mbuna, so when he had to go i figured I’d give him a chance in my 160 Mbuna tank and he fit right in, never picked on, actually has taken on an even killed some very large and aggressive Mbuna. He an a nice electric blue hap help keep the fry numbers down in that tank, but this is the first I’ve seen him try to take a fish this large, The electric blue hap never bothers large fish but is a MASTER at catching mbuna fry, even tries to get them right from mothers mouths some times!

Here's my other mbuna hunter he is lurking behind a 6" interuptus male,
