MY WAIT IS OVER

Ever since me and my girl friend picked up our wild gold saum ive ben wanting to get a silver saum and today was that day. My buddy at one of my lfs called and he had just gottin in a batch of wild silver saums and that there was a breeding pair so i picked bolth them up hoping to get them to spawn again. Right now the pair are with my gold saum fry if you where wondering. Excuse the blurry pic's as they dont like to hold still

I take it they can breed when quite small then,or are they larger than they look?

Lovely fish,are they more rare than the gold saums?can the two colours interbred?

Do I ask too many questions? lol!

Any GT's or Saums are awesome. My first cichlid was a GT so I am always looking at gettin more and the LFS always gets silver and golds. So far I have resisted but it is hard!!! You got some nice ones there!.

They are still small id say the male is roughly around 2 1/2 maybe 3 inch's and the female around 2.

Yes i did hear that the silver saums are more rare than the gold saums but that the gold saum will have better color as well so well have to see about that one. As far as interbreed i am gunna try breeding the silver saum female with my gold saum male that i already have just to see what the fry end up looking like. The photo is gunna be the male gold saum im gunna try breeding her with.
