So Ca
Hey guys,
Well I Lost my thinbar & now my prirde & Joy my big Wide Bar isn't doing so good. I'm pretty sure I know the reason, I was feeding them some frozen shrimp that was pretty damn old. I knew better, but the other night I fed them and they were fine. Well I guess it takes more then 1 day for them to get really sick and for the effects to show. I put my WB in a 20gal, added salt, used water from the 100gal (the orginal tank) and added E.M. Erythromycin. Before I added the water from the 100gal I checked it and all the readings were good. So I figured it has to be the damn shrimp I fed them, all my other fish are fine and they didnt eat the shrimp. Damn I hope he makes it, I got him when he was pretty damn small, broke him off of live food. He would only eat from my hand. This sucks! I always remember reading when people lose their fish and post about it, & thought, it's a fish get over it. Well know I know why... To raise something like that you do in fact get attached espically to a fish that has so much personality. Anyway any other suggestions would be great. Oh I forgot to mention what hes doing. He keeps just stay at top and looks likes hes gasping for air. I have no other way of explaining it. I can tell he wants to live, I just hope hes strong enough. :(

Big water change, and skip the old food. Add some prime, and hope for the best.
