My Weekend Purchase (GFX intense)

I bought a bunch of stuff from a local resident. I offered him so much for the lot.

Half of the stuff I didn't know what it was worth. But anyway.. Here's what I scored.

3/4 Gallon of River Rock

Pinpoint Dissolved Oxygen Meter (Not sure if I can even use this with Fresh Water) anybody know?

55Gallon Acrylic Tank (was used as sump)

30G? Sump

Some Fish Food (Good?)

5 Gallon Bucket of brown rocks

A box of bio balls

LiterMeterIII

and finally a gigantic 4' tall skimmer:

With this skimmer.. I am considering turning my 240G project into a Saltwater tank. Or would this thing still be way to big for that?

The 55 Gallon will become the sump for the 240 (sitting in the background of most of the pictures). The other sump might replace the sump I have under my 125G tank.

I paid $170.
The guy I bought it from is actually married to one of my coworkers. We will be staying in touch as I build my 240G. He might even come over to help. So I got a great deal, and probably a new friend. (My wife and I just moved to this town.)

I have to find a nylon screw for the skimmer. Anybody have an idea where to buy one?

That skimmer is going to require two pumps to run!! Each pump will cost about $150.
