So today I added a Whiptail pleco.
Problem number 1 I was sold this whiptail being told he was a bushy.
He now shares a tank with 6 Tiger Barbs and 4 Convicts.
For some reason the Pleco is finding it hard NOT to want to go in where the spawning Convicts are.
The Tigers get it. Absolutely no trouble. The other Convicts get it.
The only one who hasn't got it ... is this pleco. He swims right in and as soon as the male (who is marginly bigger then him but more bulky) comes in with raised fins.
Does the pleco leave? NO he raises his fins and engages the male.
Do you think this is just introduction issues and this will go away or do you think this could remain a difficult problem.
(Being this isn't my only problem as the whiptail likes maximum water temp around 75 and my tank sits at 80 currently.)
I may just have to accept I have to return the whip tail.

I have a baby jag that was being mean to my baby oscars so he got dumped in with the big oscars to learn some manners, he's a good baby jag now.
