first of all, i dont even know if shedded is a proper word.. but anywho, so i woke up today, checking out the tank.. saw my white craw laying next to a shedded skin i thought he had killed his tankmate.. then after looking around and found his tankmate, so it was a big relieved. does that means its growing right? and i've read around and remember someone said leave the shedded skin in for him to eat and it suppose to be healthy for him right? anyways just so excited so i thought i post a new thread and share with everyone... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :nilly::nilly::headbang2

It's called a Molt, or Molting.
One thing though, if a part of the old shell is stuck and they can't get out of it, LEAVE IT!
They are very soft at this stage, and their limbs will rip right off with the slightest touch.
What kind is this?
You say white, so I'm thinking maybe Cherax Holthuisi?
Pictures would be great.

Thanks.

I would remove it's tank mates. In this stage, it's very vulnerable and other cray will predate on it.

Wow.. thats fast. thanks for the inputs guys.. i'll try to post some pics later on tonight.. too lazy to capture it now lol.
