so as im sitting here learning this site and reading up on things my Red Oscar decides that he is hungry and eats my Pike cichild... pissed off but it is what it is... down to one pike now.... and my wife was wondering if it would be a good idea to pull it out its mouth i didnt bother to do it but just in case next time should i or shouldnt i?

yes u can coz my 5 inch jag decided to eat one of my africans so i catch my jag and pull out the african and the african is doing fine again
 
If the pike is dead, don't pull it out of the oscars mouth unless the oscar is struggling. You could hurt the oscar by pulling the pike out.

He should spit it out or finish eating it eventually.

If he spits it out, remove it from the tank as soon as possible.
