The HRP's have spawned again in their new tank and i was very impressed by the females protective behaviour. Remembering the popular convict photos by Ruda Zukal and Jaroslav Elias used in a lot of cichlid literature, i thought "yeah", we can do better. 
So after adjusting the correct setting on the camera, i sat her down, hoping that she has the focus right. I also put the camera in live view mode to save her looking through the view finder. I cautiously put my hand near the spawning area, held the over head flash in the other hand and told her to shoot when ready.
I personally think the photo has come out great, i am very proud, she has done a great job. I think i may need to up my game now, lol
