My wife's puffer fish

my wife has had a few smaller puffers over the years (only fish she really likes) but she's been wanting a larger saltwater puffer. I had no intention of setting up a large saltwater tank so I finally convinced her to get a tiny little fahaka and she went for it. Couple months later and the little guy is not so little anymore. Wife is happy and I don't have to setup a saltwater tank.

so, you're going to set up a large freshwater tank? Fahakas get like 18 inches long.

Truth is, a large salt water puffer fish is going to need a much larger tank than a freshwater fahaka... take the good ol’ proc puffer for example, min. recommended tank size for an adult i think is around 300G+

Plan on keeping long term? Seems like a great way to get that giant tank in the door imo!
