my lfs got a few wild caught... green terrors in from melbourne... got a nice female from them. First time I've seen a female with so much blue worming on her face ....im in brisbane so hopefully she survives .. :) heres a few pics of her and my male ....

i have a wild caught female Gold saum aswell..
the male died but i still have the female.. she spawns every 3 weeks :)

Out of curiosity ohhsweetness, How do you know it is wild caught? Lfs said so? They are not on the allowable import list and I highly doubt anyone will risk the fines smuggling in a species that is readily available here and not expensive to buy. That aside, nice female and good luck with the pair.
 
im very close with my lfs but she ddnt cost me much though .... there from a river he said a dad n daughter go fishing for them down south ....and sent 5 males and 2 females i got one of the females because kevin only wanted one pair and they would sell the rest of the males off ... so is she classed as wild caught if they came form a river ..... down south ?

The classification of wild caught/F0 means a fish caught/removed from its natural habitat. Your fish is classed as a feral fish. It or its previous generations were dumped into an unnatural body of water and was originally from tank stock. Hope that helps some. :)
