My Wolf fish killed my Pike!!!!

So I have a Pike in my 75 gallon community tank, and a West african lung and Wolf Fish in my Vicious tank. The lung and the wolf get along very well. My roommate decides to buy a Moray snow flake eel.

He throws him in the 75 gallon community tank and immediately the Pike cichlid shakes him and has most of him in his mouth. (I am not home at the time and was told the story later.) So my roommate decides to put him in with my lung and wolf fish, to save his eel. The next day we get home from work and the pike is floating upside down. Missing fins, part of his face and (@SS) The wolf fish, was missing an eye. His mouth looks raw but he messed the pike up pretty bad.

do you guys think he will live? I know hoplias mals are pretty tough but damn I feel bad he lost his eye.

Only thing in there with him is a West African Lung Fish. They seem to be really good friends.

No, his friend had an impulse buy and didn't give them the correct water or do research on it.

I hope so too, I really hope he pulls through. BTW that was a fresh water snowflake moray eel. They look a lot different from the salt water cousin, not as pretty. And Midas Madness was right. It was a straight impulse buy from our lfs. The guy who owns it is a great dude Carl Ackerbauer is an A+ dude man. He is pretty savage when it comes to exotic pets. The name of the store is Ack's exotic pets in Ciciero NY. He is a good man. He said the wolfie should be fine.

I wish the pike would have been smarter though. Gotta pick your battles and never fight a wolf fish. LOL!

I would beat any of my friends sensless if an impulse buy of theirs cost my fish its life ESPECIALLY if it all happened because they decided to move my fish into a different tank without me even being there. The wolf just died too. Damn, I am upset, I feel more sad though. Lost his right eye, then lost his life.
