first i like to thank odd ball for the advise about treating bloat.
My yellow lab recently got the bloat, and i was following the instructions laid out by odd ball with some adjustments since my hospital tank was only one gallon in size. i got maracyn-two, packet of 8 and used one packet for the first three days with one table spoon of uniodized salt in the water. Everything else was as oddball directed with leaving the fish alone for three days, change out at least half the water, then i again treated with one packet of maracyn-two with addition of salt and leaving the fish alone for another three days. The bloat was def. getting better to the point where i was feeding him lightly every day and today, as i was about to change out the water for the final phase when to my horror... DISASTER!!! My yellow lab must have gotten it's energy back and jumped out of the little tank and lying on my carpet DEAD!!!!
