i have this golden aro i bought from a local pet store. i have my aro for almost 3 months now and is almost 4 inches long.. i would want to ask for your tips on how to care for my baby.. thank you!!:nilly:

p.s. i would post its picture as soon as my cam is repaired. and another one, i am a newbie and this is my very first aro so any info is very crucial.. thank you!!:headbang2
 
The most important thing is to keep the tank well covered. Most young aros die from jumping out from small holes.
 
you had it for 3 mths and dont know how to take care of it?
like koji said,make sure it doesnt jump out.
thats alot of $ right there.
feed basically any meaty foods.
 
keep the tank cover, all the time - later you may have to put some weight.
keep the water clean, always.
the surface - try not to make much "waves", keep it quiet (they prefer)
as for foods, if you can make him eat pellets is better and easier. (but its hard to make them eat, mine don't use to eat pellets). some live foods are good too but make sure they are in good health.
and most of all, take care of him, he deserves.

75% change of water every other day brad..pra tama ung PH lvl ng water
 
australian pre.. sa local pet store namin d2.. mga 4inches pa lang, binili ko na.. wala na ug eggsack nya.. 1900..Ü
 
ahh..4" pla xa..mgnda yan pag lumaki.ung akin silver lng..750php ko lng nbli..i hoping na blin ung 9" na malaysian golden aro..4.5kphp..my papers daw kc export..hehehe =)
