dont know to much about them. he would eat all the snals in the tank. the tank is filled with moss from the woods of MI. i have fish and a fire belly newt. i have mushrooms that grow. any info...

Fire bellied newts do put off a mild toxin. I have had guppies kick the bucket who where in with the newt. Not sure though sternotherus orderatus is usaully a very hardy turtle!! Try again man there great but I would probably remove the firebelly and the shrooms
some poison ivy started to grow had to remove me and poison ivy dont mix. thanks for the help. i will get another on soon. i have red ears i love them.
