Just want to share my zz-fader, it was 2" 3 months ago when I bought it. It grow up to 4" and faded, here is the result;

When it faded after a week of arrival;





first month;

Second month;

Third month(now);

it looks like he is reverse fading

+1 on the reverse fade, thats weird. he is cool though and has a nice head

omg he has rapid hump growth, what do you feed them? and what does it mean by reverse growth?

Imo reverse fading means, he gains the original color back, after fading.
I feed my fish a granule food mix as stable diet, includes dainichi color fx, dainichi ultimate krill, tropical super spirulina forte, nls cichlid formula, jbl nova gran.
Also once a day OF-humpy head, OF-super red syn, okiko head huncher, tetra reptomin pellet mix.
