Does anyone have these cute little guys?
I have seen them at my lfs for a while and I have been thinking of setting up a pair or 2.
All I know is they stay fairly small...haha anyone else have any info as I cannot find any online.
Thanks!

1 of my favorite Cichlids. If you're seeing these at your LFS you're very lucky. I would run down their and snatch them up. These fish are on the endangered species list so if they are real Myrnae you really should get them ASAP in my opinion. Mellow and and pair would do well in a 29 gallon and mine like a nice flake food for the most part. I would probably try to get a few females to a single male if they are sexable.

MY lfs has them all the time for $7. I am waiting to set up a 35gal for them.
They are quite small in this batch right now about 2" he had gorgeous ones at around 5" a few months ago they got me hooked haha.
The guy there said they pair up and aren't so much a harem type fish...or do you mean get a few female until a pair has formed?

I cant find pics or information anywhere either...but I will post pics when I get them.
They have kind of pale grey bodies with black markings, some yellow on the fins and ice blue eyes! And I hear that their breeding colour is snow white.

Yes, just until a pair forms.

They are similar to other cryptoheros species in size and temperament. They really are a beautiful mid size cichlid. I have a pair in a 75 with some geos. They haven't spawned yet, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

For pics, jus tdo a google search. Proper spelling is cryptoheros myrnae.

I had a pair that spawned in my 240. Still have the female. Males a pretty drab fish but the female develop very pretty yellow sides. I included some pics of the ones I have/had.
