I don’t know
Wondering if anyone has any info on this genus.
Where does it fall in the piranha, pacu SD categories.
Photos would be appreciated.
Specifically if anyone has info on the paraschromburgkii (butchered the spelling)

It’s under the pacu family. Not much info but seen in riverine waters and predominant plant based food with some insects. Rare fish.

Unfortunately Pygopristis and serrasalmus species are both on the banned list in MA-
Mylesinus are not, pulled the trigger.
Also got a probarbus labeomajor, tropical gar and Rio Branco Oscar!

The mylesinus and oscar are about the same size now, obviously the O is much thicker but the SD is closing in 14" and like 7" tall. It must be a male because the dorsal has 2 lobes. got bluer and blacker with size. used to steal silversides from my old rays.

sorry, dbl lobed anal fin.... early morning, no coffee 70hr work weeks.
