I suspect this has been covered somewhere in the forums, but my search was fruitless.

I used to supplement my fishs' normal diet with some brine shrimp cubes here and there (I'd put them in so they'd get intentionally messy, and some'd make it down to the substrate for my bottom feeders to pick up), but recently started picking up mysis instead. The individual shrimps seem slightly larger, and the cube itself looks much less dirty. The people at my LFS said mysis are more nutritious, but I can't be sure of the veracity of that.

Anybody know the differences between the two, nutritionally?

They were right, mysis is far more nutrtious. Has far more protein. Go for piscene energetics mysis if you can, per shrimp youre looking at 69.5% protein! Great food, only brand of mysis i feed to my marines. The shrimp themselves are larger than hikari or san fran and theyre actually collected in glacial lakes in canada.
