so i posted a pic of my crenicichla sveni with dark patches on its skin about a week ago, but the pics werent clear and no one knew anything. so i went researching this online. I mostly came across info on black ich, which is not what this is. its dark patches of skin that are flush, not raised in any way. so i finnally found something on another forum after searching a long time.

so reading this thread no one has any idea what this is, does anyone here know???????????
its very mysterious, i read some fish die, some dont, and sometimes it kills the entire tank. I really like my little sveni but it is getting worse, more spots and patches of dark pigment. so, what should i do, take him out, take him back, euthanise? I dont know. by the way he is acting totally normal, eating and everything. I'm mainly worried about it spreading to tankmates, help anyone?
