OK sorry I can't take a pic because the eggs keep disappearing before I can snap a good shot or remove them from the tank. So yeah with that being said this is the second time I have found what appears to be a small blob of clear "jelly" with little white specs in it. It is no larger than a med sized pc of gravel. I have blk shirt and blk phantom tetras, pygmy cories, bb gobies, and I know it can't be the mollies they are both males, in my community tank. :D I am just curious what could be depositing these eggs, and if they are fertile. I will try and snag them out next time I see them & put them in the fry tank with a bubbler. I think the shrimp are making snacks out of them. *shrugs* Any ideas?

That's a cool mix of potential parents. Mollies are livebearers anyway, so it couldn't be them no matter what. I don't think tetras make egg blobs, perhaps a cory breeding?

LOL I forgot about the mollies being live bearers. :wall:

IDK I've never bread cories but it would be interesting to see either way. I was soooo hoping for the black phantoms LOL I call them my mini piranhas ;)

Yeah I think there is one lonesome pond snail that snuck in with a batch of fish.

I promise next time they appear I will snap a shot!

I didn't think of snails. They are a-sexual. I bet it was the snail.

BTW, you can net them out and put them in a jar to better photograph them.

If I do this, do I need a bubbler or anything? What should I feed them when/if they hatch?

OH and thanks for all your help!!! :D :D

I would just put a small piece (4 inces or so) of a plant (such as anacharis) in the jar. Don't put a lid on the conatiner. Hikari makes food for hatchlings, and ground-up flake would work as well.
