Mystery Feeder ID

Somebody posted this photo on a local fishing forum. They found this fish in a bag of feeders and raised him up.

The question is, what is it?

It looks like some sort of Cichlid, but I am not sure at all. I thought at first it was a Green Terror, but now I don't think so.

You got it half right. It's a Green Sunfish.

Green Sunfish...I've gotten them as feeders from time to time. I could never raise them to maturity though
