so, i think this may be a hybrid...
i found it in a tank full of cons
...in fact i found many of them but picked 3...they came in many variations of colors from lemon yellow - blue/black like a true con....But i could still tell they were different by thier behavior and suddle difference in body shape....
i tried to pick one male and 2 females but i am now puzzled...
i figured the males were the yellow ones... however a bluish one later turned yellow as well ( maybe it matured)...
The larger yellow one that i thought was for sure a male now has a pink splash between its belly and gills (where a female con would get it)...
they seem a lot more skittish than cons though...
They are the same size and at this point show little interest in (true) female cons... and no interest in eachother....the third one that is not pictured may be pairing up with my large male pink con...but the one not pictured is con colors with a slightly different movement and body shape... ill have to wait and see..
but any guesses as to what these fish are?
