Mystery fish

Hi, newbie here. My husband bought me a few shrimp for my tank as a surprise, but the store accidently sent him home with a fish as well. Any idea what it Is? How big it will get and so on? I think it might be som e kind of tetra? Any help appreciated. If it is a tetra I'm thinking I can't keep it as my tank is pretty much stocked and so I don't have space for a shoal if it needs one.

Maybe, kinda hard to tell though. The shape of the forehead does look kind of like a tetra, but that may just be a blur. I'm not terribly good with tetras, but I'd sure if you include a close up someone here would be able to identify it.

Actually, now that I look at it closely, it's probably just a glofish.

That's a similar shape but it's no way as colourful.

What about a Green Rasbora (Microdevario kubotai)?

After looking at some pictures online I think this might be it, thank you. Now.. how do I go about persuading the family that I have to buy it a new tank so that I can buy it some buddies...
