So it's been some time that I've had these loaches. When I found them at the store they were labeled under "Botia _____" I don't remember, but I asked the guy if they were Zebra Loaches and he said yes. (Funny thing was this guy looked EXACTLY like Adam from Killswitch Engage). Anyway, I've seen Zebra Loaches everywhere and they look nothing like mine. They look something like an Angelicus Loach if anything. Maybe their patterns aren't ike them because they aren't adults? I don't know, They are right now +/- 1 inch.

Here are some pics; thanks to everyone who helps :)

Hmm. The patterns on the Gold Zebra loach are more solid. Mine have like H's (noticable in the last pic)

^^ that's what I was thinking.
I just would like to know for the sake of knowing :D

They look like exact negatives of my juvie Botia Kobutai. Mine are mostly midnight blue/black with gold striping. They are beautiful! I'm gonna go do some digging...

Botia Striata (Zebra Loach)

Botia Almorhae (Yo Yo Loach)

Botia Kobutai (Polka Dot Loach, Angelicus Botia Loach, Marble Loach, Burmese Border Loach) Only my adults look like this. Juvies are more of a tic-tac-toe board effect.

I still have no idea which one you have though. Maybe Botia Rostrata? I cant find a pic for one of those.

Yep, that' a Rostrata. Nice fish.
