my friend has a 55 set up with live rock, hermits, and snails with only koralia current makers running, and he has thousands of 1/16th or so shrimp in the water column. the tank has been set up for like 10 months now, hes just busy and unmotivated to spend the money on livestock. you can easily tell the shrimp have normal shrimp tails and you can see little black eyes, the midsection is pink(guts i'm assuming) and the rest of the body is clear. whenever there is no mechanical going these guys show up.
