Hey. Im taking care of some mystery snails and I found eggs above the waterline. I found them either 3 or 4 days ago and I felt them and they are hard. They look pink to me. It also looks like there are two small bursted holes in the cluster. What does this mean and how many can I expect to hatch? thanks

I dunno about the holes but you can pretty much expect them all to hatch.

I found a cluster floating in one of my tanks, they were pretty dried up as well, so I did a little research. From what I read the eggs are laid above the water line and need humid conditions so a glass top is needed, the cluster dries up and usually only the eggs in the center actually hatch. I'm keeping my eye out for baby mystery snails but have a feeling my Rainbows would have eaten any newly hatched snails they came across.
