Anyone else keeping these?

I got one, then a few more, and now all of a sudden I have about 2 dozen of them. Have any of you found them as addicting as I have?
I have ivory, regular, gold, and blue ones. I find them extremely entertaining - always all over the tank, and they even seem to play - climbing, then dropping down, over and over again (occassionally, not ongoing) It's just awesome watching them interact with each other.

Is breeding easy? These guys are shooter-marble sized. They do eat a lot! Fish food and pellets, dead feeders, all are eaten with gusto. (Crazy watching a huge cluster of snails converging)

I don't do anything about adding calcium to their water - Should I? They seem fine after about 4 months, though. I have not had one casualty. How big do they get? Rate of growth?

Thanks in advance

MYSTERY SNAILS= Pomacea bridgesii.

to grow them big and fast:
temp 80-82
feed them algae disks, frozen green peas, cucumber, and boiled carrots.
for nice shiney shells: add calcium to the tank(crushed coral) you can put it in a bag and add it to the filter. keep pH above7.2 to avoid shell erosion.
to breed do as said above and leave a 1.5-2" gap above the water line. they lay eggs out of the water.

Ive been keeping the briggs.Breeding for really nice purple color, but they throw alot of blue and Ivory, with the occasional jade.Cool pets mine really like green beans and collards

that's a hella huge apple, i was breeding them for a while, my largest were golf ball sized. make sure you have a good lid, i found a female across my kitchen counter laying eggs once, there sneaky. although i did have a problem w/ the eggs getting bothered by other snails, suggestions on that?

i drop the water level about 2 iches so there is plenty of room for laying eggs and it also discourages runaways
