Mystus catfish cut infected?

So a couple of weeks ago my mystus mysticetus got spooked a hit himself on the glass and got a small cut. Today I noticed that it had not healed and gotten bigger, is it infected and if so what should I do?

i would say treat for infection and keep water pristine melafix is a good antibacterial treatment

edit: obv try prevent whatever spooked him

Alright ill give that medicine a try,. He just gets spooked randomly when we walk by occasionally

yeah ive had the same problem with fish before usually when kept in none busy areas so when traffic does pass it seems "odd" to the fish

Clean water and salt, 1 tsp per g.
