n00b question

What is the best way to learn the different types of fish frequently caught? For the past few days, I've been looking online and most game-fish all look alike to me. All I know for sure is bluegills, because that's what I catch most of the time, unfortunately.

I should bring my camera out and take pictures of what I catch and post 'em up here, for you pros to identify them for me.

Thanks and please keep the flaming to a minimum. We all had to start somewhere, I'm hoping my fellow MFK'ers take it easy on me.

Are you asking about fish you have caught, but couldn't identify? A local field guide works great for this, as do photos posted on here
As for not knowing what kind of fish are found in your area, see the field guide as well.
