i have for trade bluegill,redear sunfishand hybrid bluegill(croos between green sunfish and bluegill) i have up to 2 each depending on trade these fish are captive bred and range in size from 2.5" -about 5"ish (redear are the smallest of the lot and the bluegill are the largest) i bought these fish from a hatchery and have had them since july '09 they all were less than 1" when i got them. i bought 9 fish thinking that all would not make the 2hour trip home well, they all survived ... these guys will eat anything that even resembles food and will even jump out of the water for food
what i am looking for is another native predator type fish (no bass they get to large) but a rock bass , warmouth , crappie, grass pickerel,pumpkinseed , also would be really interested in small native catfishes like madtoms , bullhead, stone cat....
also looking for (for a different tank ) some colorful small species tanganyikan cichlids
