Nail polish

My niece had nail polish on and was going to reach into one of my tanks. I wouldn't let her until she put on a glove.
Does anyone know the effect of nail polish if you put your hand in the tank?

Yeah I would'nt see any harm if the polish was dry.

nail polish is a common tip/trick for accenting fishing lures, so I would assume it is okay or so many pros wouldn't endorse doing it...

I remember my dad doing this... then again, we kill all our fish and ate them anyways so it didn't really matter if it was toxic.

yea, i always wear nail polish, i wouldnt be sticking my hand in there right after they got painted, but once they are dry, its not an issue.
