Name of these bichirs?

OK i have 2 of them and i am pretty sure they are both different. The first one is from a fish store around where i live, the other is from pet smart. Both are way different in size and color.

their both the same? one is Grey and one is gold/tan

they're both sens. there is a lot of variation in color and pattern on polypterids. most noticeable in sens. I've seen slate grey, black, white, neon green, brown, yellow, etc....

but ya there both sens, mine range from light gray to dark gray it just depends

Yup...Senegals. Like Cohazard said, they can vary in coloration. Usually light grey to greenish tan.

I don't, but I have seen some that have a very high amount of that neon green that bichirs can have.
