looks like some kind of sand perch to me, not sure which one

Looks like a wrasse. But, it also looks to be displaying stress patterning. Might want to shoot a pic of it when it calms down.

I saw one of those at the LFS the other week, and I had no idea what it was. It had a long and weird name...

Ya I agree, i think its some kind of wrasse, but looks stressed out.
