alright so everyday i find this brownish reddish gooey/stringy stuff either floating around or in lil clumps on the bottom of the tank!! what is it!! is it stingray poo?

I fit smells like, looks like, feels like, sounds like and tastes like poo....it probably is.

Nope..that is their poo....don't be surprised if you see 4"+ of those things laying on the bottom of your tank..
I never worry about them too much because my Powerheads catches them in the current and my HOB filters will pull them in...otherwise if I see them I net them out if I don't the filters takes care of it.

yah i have 2 powerheads one maxi jet 1200 that's 295GPH which i put a sponge filter on. it catches a lot of it.
i also of a Korila 4 which is 1200GPH and it just tears it apart... and shoots it all over the tank...........
