Yeah it's a rescue, the previous owner is saying they always had it like this. I will post more soon. I didn't realize how bad this fish really was till they handed it to me in a ziplock bag.
The quality of the water they gave me in speaks enough and how bad this little dude had it.
Very active fish for the most part, not shy. Gonna be placing it in a 30g "till/if" the fins heal up and is good to go for the 125g show tank

Keep water ultra clean and it looks like it'll recover, looks like severe erosion of fins which should grow back with time and a decent diet
Man, what did they do to that poor fish. It's stomach is caved in, not sure if just from hunger or parasites. Fins can grow back, but they also could not, looks like they are shredded/eroded to the base. I would give the guy a few months with clean water and good food, see if he makes any progress.
