my school greenhouse is packed with those, ill get an ID for u ASAP. those little buds are seeds. I think its called a spider plant or somethingI got this in The Bahamas a few years ago and I've not been successful in identifying it thus far.

Glad you like it Lep.If it happens to grow any offshoots you're welcome to them....Davd R thanks,it may be a Kalanchoe but it's not the one that you named as I also have that one that I brought back from a previous trip as well..That one looks totally different,for one thing it is kind of tree like in that it has a long trunk or stem and grows quite tall whereas this one that I have pictured seems to be more squat and close to the ground.As for it possibly needing more light,I've had it outside in the sun all summer since I found it in a sunny area when I collected it.I did bring it in a few days ago due to cool evenings which might have something to do with its coloration.I have it in a sunny window spot now.I dunno but I love it!!
I think I'm gonna get some. they are fairly easy to grow. they would look good next to my aloe veras.
BTW the ones at the school greenhouse are nearly four feet tall...I will get an ID for u tomorrow morning. they are true plant monsters I love them.Pole I'm looking forward to your I.D. attempt,and take a picture of the plant in your nursery if you can.
