Hello! This is my first post on MFK. I'm active on other forums, but my fish really fit in best on this site, IMO. I have a breeding pair of Nandopsis Haitiensis (Black Nasty cichlids). They've given me three batches of fry over the past six months. I got them from a member on another site who is a member of the Ohio Cichlid Association and runs a huge fish rescue. He sent six, and I let the pair form naturally and gave the other four to friends. At one point during the process of letting the pairs form, I had a batch of fry on either end of my 125. I don't know if they were the same batch and one female "adopted" some of them, or if both females laid eggs. Both females were in their pitch black breeding dress in the days up to that point, and both guarded the fry in their respective territories of the tank.
