Nandopsis Haitiensis pictures and questions.

I've kept Nasties a few times over the years, but always end up with all females. Here's a
young bonded 2.5" pair. They already killed the rest of their group off and now stake out territory from everyone else. Will these guys breed this small?

My female was about 4" when she first laid eggs. The male was probably around 6" then.

I think they are too young to breed right now, but will not be long. Living up to their reputation though!

Yes they will, at 2.5-3" the female can spawn if she likes. Granted you'll have a batch of 25-40 but its still a spawn. BTW she is beautiful. I've been looking everywhere for a female that is ALL black like that. Also by having tankmates like u do should help them to spawn faster. If you were to move them into own tank now it might slow or stop them from doing so that small. But keep in mind they're young and not every small pair will figure it pi good luck
