I may be able to get a group of 7 Nangu Fronts or a group of 7 Burundi Fronts. The guy wants me to make an offer but I really dont know what there worth. I've seen lots of Burundi for sale but never any Nangu. Are they rare in the hobby? All the fronts measure out between 4"-6". For simplicity reasons lets assume 3 males and 4 females.

What is each group worth?

Depends on your area of course.
Burundi are everywhere, but being common does not mean you won't want them.

Nangu are not super common, but they are the most common Zambian import.

Also, those Burundi are most likely F1000's. The Nangu very well could be F1 or F2.

In my area with millions of Burundi being around, I'd figure $20 each when trying to sell one by one, and about $125 as a group deal.

Nangu, closer to $35 each, and $175 for the group.
In general you can make more money selling individual fish, but takes forever to move that way, that is why the math does not match up.

In short, value wise Nangu is worth more.
Nangu are less common in the industry.

Depends what you like to look at, Nangu are kind of like faded Mpimbwe, they have color, just not alot.
burundi have huge heads and bigger spawns.

Can't really tell sex by pix, you must vent.
big heads COULD and USUALLY do mean male, but i have had huge headed females.
so the Nangu do look like 3 males, can't even tell about the burundi group.

The burundi group have nice crisp stripes.
Often people sell some crappy bad striped burundi, so if you like burundi, those are nice, at least the ones we can see.

The nangu, have faded stripes, and a tad bit of split striping at the top of a couple stripes.
If you put them in a dark background, dark substrate, the stripes may improve.

If it was me, i'd pass on those Nangu (if i wanted nangu) unless we have better pictures. I'd wait for better breeder stock.
If the Burundi is a good ratio of females, i'd pick them up (if i wanted Burundi), and find me a nice show male for them.
