Nano-Reef Skimmer??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You don't need a skimmer on a tank that small, but if you want them they do make some pretty good nano skimmers.

Sorry, can't find the site right now :( i'm sure someone knows it though.

I'm using the biocube brand protein skimmer and it seems to do pretty well however there are some quirks to it that make it less than preferable. It took a good 6 months before we found the perfect inlet of air for decent skimming. Up until that we got no agitation or way to much. We're using it on a 29 biocube and find it full every two days. The levels in the tank aren't regulated enough to leave it for more than about two weeks. Usually a once a week 5 gallon water change will have a better impact then the skimmer. Of coures they never hurt either...
