Nano Shrimp Tank?

Ive been intrested in setting up a nano shrimp tank.

what would be a basic set-up i would need to do this?

How small can it be?

i wouldn't go small than 2.5 gallons..

realistically any smaller than 5 gallons is only missing space...

what kind of shrimp were you planning?

tiger shrimp, cleaner shrimp, coral banded, sexy, pistol, mantis?

i was somewhat intrested in Long Arm Shrimp (Periclimenes cf. tenuipes)

Would a 3 gallon eclipse work if well maintained or what kinda of filtration set up would i need? skimmers? eh?

uh.. i have no experience with that shrimp.. so i can't say about size..

as far as filtration something simple as a fluval 1+ would be plenty with somewhat frequent water changes

actually i didn't see that you mentioned the eclipse 3.. i thought you were just talking about some random 3 gallon tank, lol

witht he fluval you'd need a light.. but the light on the eclipse should be good for at least mushrooms and maybe zoos and xenia..

aragonite, dolomite, oolite.. pretty much anything but crushed coral and marbles, lol
