First off wut do u kno about nano cub tanks (24 galon)?

next wut can i put into the 24 nano (saltwater only)?

And last any good sugestions for a set up for a nano cube (24 gal. saltwater)

You might get better answers if this was in the Saltwater section! :)

Nano Cubes are fun, but you have to be patient!

Stock less fish, more inverts.. make sure you have great lighting.

salt nanos are pretty nice and require a lot of attention. You need to keep testing. Im thinking about one and am planning on daily testing with 50% weekly water changes.

The lighting, from what I have seen, is sufficent for a small reef system although a lot of people upgrade their systems.

A lot of people are using nanopods and nanocubes for a nano planted freshwater system. These little guys are actually perfect for this use.

they awesome you can put anthing in them

Nano tanks in general are really cool... But, if you're actually speaking of the "Nano-Cube" aquarium by JBL, they're crap! I had one for a while, and the thing was poorly designed (fish could jump into the filter part on the back and it was nearly impossible to catch 'em), the lighting was extremely cheaply done, and the filter eventually stoped working entirely. I e-mailed JBL about my problems several times, and they never responded. When I called, I was given the run-around...

nanos are very difficult to keep up with unless you really knoww what your doing

:iagree: cosidering you have a nutrient starved enviroment that you have to control everyvariable takes a little bit of know how I know people that are great and i also know people that have killed very many fish and other sea life before deciding that it wasnt for them so please please please do your reaserch before you go and set one up they are great books out on keeping nanos buy one of these first

also, you need to make sure you get the correct kinds of fish and inverts to put in it. They may be small enough to fit in a tank, but they may not like anything else in there with it.

NanoCubes have also been known to crack for no apparent reason. This is a known issue which was supposedly fixed for the new 2006 models. There are tons of horror stories on some of the reef sites I visit.

There are new aquapods though and their supposed to be better, and have better lighting, but they are also fairly new to the market so I guess time will tell how those are over time.
