I've seen that show, pretty cool. If you pay close attention to their cuts between segments they show a few different species they don't talk about at all in the show. Saw a bichir in there somewhere.
The only thing I didn't like about the show was how they made it so dramatic when the kayakers were in danger from the guerillas and the rapids on the river. They played suspenseful music. I thought it was over done. Other than that I thought it was a cool show and I loved the footage of them catching that 30lb tiger fish.
