Native Bass with Pbass?

Can you keep Largemouth bass with pbass? Just curious, don't plan on doing so but the thought crossed my mind today

They don't share the same temperature range so i'd say no. Also, LMBs are incredibly aggressive will beat up most fish in a tank. I've had a 5 inchers that terrorized a bunch of fish twice its size.
 
I've had good luck with it in the past. The high temps shorten the LMBs life some. SMB should never be put with them IMO for many reasons including they are meaner than LMB, mine killed my bigger LMB & hated my Cichla.

Ok that's cool I was just curious. Seen some real nice large mouth caught around here lately so it did cross my mind for when I got a bigger tank but sounds like its not a great idea. Thanks

Yeah and lmb commonly get much larger than most pbass will and they have one of the largest mouths-body size of most fish. So they could be capable of eating a fish the same length as them. They are also aggressive. I would consider any fish smaller or up to 5" or so bigger food depending on your basses size. I personally wouldnt do it because of the risks but it could be done
