i have moved out of ohio, so i am in kiev, ukraine full time now. i miss my american salary. i went from making $7000/month to $800/month. but i guess you win some, you lose some

Interesting looking fish, one looks like an algae eater....As for the salary difference,I can't help but wonder what prompted you to give up such good pay.

the one that looks like a algae eater is Gobio Gobio. they dont really eat algae, more like really small skinny carp. There also many species of fresh water gobies and fresh water pipefish here. so they are on my list of future fish.

as for giving up my pharmacist salary, i just wanted to move back home. i got tired of US. Not sure if i'll stay here for good. I am thinking about going somewhere tropical. Any good ideas?

Interesting, are there any large growing fish in your land/waters?.....I've been to the Bahamas and to Puerto Rico and may relocate to one or the other in the future.

well, mostly typical euro fish: wel's catfish, northern pike, carp, different perches, carassius (wild goldfish). there are some other large predatory fishes, but i have to look up their scientific name (i only know their names in russian).

The coolest thing is that they sell live carp, trout, asian carp, wel's catfish, sometimes pike in local supermarkets. i was really tempted to buy northern pike once, but i cant really house it in my one room flat. so i am stuck with small fish for now.

Awesome little ones, looking forward to see more of your native fishes there..
