Orlando, Florida
Hello all, I'm new to the forms and of course native fish.
I have a warmouth, redear and some bluegill fry. But I would love to get my hands on some darters and maybe a sculpin To fill a spare 20 gallon tank. I havn't been able to find any real lakes, or rivers, everything is man made. I would like to know if anyone knows of a place in the orlando area
that holds darters, green sunfish, longears, etc. The wekiva river which I live right next to was a great place. But they banned fishing from the property due to people keeping to many gravid females. I don't have a boat, so....help would be appreciated.

lake toho in kissimee. i frequent that lake and love it. all of those big florida lakes and their adjacent streams and rivers are not man made.

Just becaue it is man made does not mean that it does not have native fish in it. Down here in South Florida all the water ways are connected.
