Hi,
native to your location or native to the pulchra location ?
In fact i wouldnt keep anything else with pulchra than another pulchra. This species of snakehead can get really nasty wehen getting sexually mature and when pairs start to form from a group, and even when a pair has bonded, ONE figth can be the death penalty to one of the fish.
And knowing this and the power and strengt of a Channa pulchra, I would not keep anithing together with them. Even same sized fish can easily be chased to death or killed by constantly biting and attaking the belly and the tail.
AND pulchra come from small hillstreams, other fish there are small and they are all food for the pulchra. You can compare them with brown trout in smal streams, one big fish in every smal pool, not wanting anyone other in there.

Hi yes, I wasn't sure if there were fish that wasn't food for them.
