native for a pond

What are some good natives that can take Colorado's winter in a pond and where can i buy some. Any good websites

I don't know the laws on what you can stock in Colorado but Pumpkinseeds, Bluegill, Warmouth are all cool Cichlid like natives that can live in a pond that freezes over. Jonahs aquarium, zimmermans fish and Btdarters along with Sachs aquaculture are the ones with the best names.

Do a google search for fish hatcheries in your area. Most of what the will have will survive the winters.

Jonah's aquarium I don't reccomend. The people there are jerks and treat you like you are wasting their time. Sachs Is very good and treats you very well.

You must have caught them on a bad day I have had real good luck with both Jonahs aquarium and Zimmermans fish.

Look up hatcheries near you. You can normally buy them really cheap. Lots of different kinds.
