I think that is would be nice to have one. I think it would only be nice to have one though in a really large tank with some other native fish like bass and bullheads.

A great stalk and pounce predator for an unheated tank, more suited to a pond though. For the same look and habits but in a smaller package look into redfin or grass pikerel. Check past threads in the "native, coldwater" forum for more info. They can be pre-ordered through Jonah's Aquarium if nobody in the buy and sell has them. This picture is from them.

I think they are awsome...just look at my avatar. They are one of those fish that should stay wild though. I would love to have a grass or redfin though.

Pike and Muskie are amazing predators.
The tank size requirements for this fish would be HUGE. Unlike Arrowana's or big Snakeheads, Pike are not as flexible and thus tanks like 180's and 240's likely would not even work for smaller specimens-those under 30".

props if you can do it.
Someone suggested a grass or redfin pickeral, which would have all of the cool characteristics of a pike but a much smaller size.
Best of luck
