1 Panamanian Pleco (local name chupapiedra (stone sucker)) 5".
and 1Eleotris sleeper goby @10", local name Guavina (caught in a small stream, here on Isla Taboga).

Sounds like a happy cat at the beginning of the second video. I looked around the island from Google Earth; doesn't look like there is much for freshwater. Are there any other fish species found on the island? I think from an earlier post you found some shrimps.

Yes the cat always begs for fish chunks.
When I first arrived on the island, I was told there were no freshwater fish on Taboga at all, and believe the goby was probably caught up in the bilge of a ship that passed thru the Panama Canal, and attracted to one of the streams that empty to the Pacific.
There are freshwater shrimp, turtles, and at least 3 Amphibians utilizing the fresh water thatI know of.

For all freshwater fish, the mainland is where to go, and one needs to catch them.
Most people here see medium size cichlids as dinner.
The LFSs only sell the average run of the mill community species, and in a few places line bred angels, discus, or Arowana, or other Asian "lucky type fish" none of which are not on my radar.
